Front Garden Transformation

Here we have a recent project where the front garden drive area was in need of a complete makeover. The entrance  to the property was dominated by a large conifer hedge and to the side a old trellis construction with an over grown Wisteria twisting through it.

The client wanted a more welcoming approach to their front garden and this in turn would improve the veiw from their front window and bring more light into the front garden. So firstly we cut down the conifers and stump ground the roots, then removed the Trellis and Wisteria.
The client obviously wanted to open up the front but still wanted to retain some privacy so we erected some fencing with a lattice trellis and some pencil top posts.

Then we rotovated the whole area and added compost to the bed area and top soil to the lawn area. Then to create a clear border to grass divide we used granite setts raised out of the ground slightly

And finally we planted up the border with some suitable plants and finished of with a nice new green lawn.

Here’s what the client thought of the work.

“Dan undertook to transform my garden and what a job he did.  It’s amazing what can be achieved in 5 days and it was a real pleasure to work with Dan who gave me great ideas for my front garden and the planting is fabulous.  I can highly recommend Dan for his professionalism and knowledge of all things garden and plants.  Thanks Dan.”
