A Landscape Project

We were constructing the fencing in this front garden when the customer asked us if there was anything that could be done with the rest of the garden as they were at there wit end.

So here is a quick pictorial of  what we did as you can see in the first set of pictures we had a fairly steep slope with more moss than grass and with a Ceder tree at the bottom of the slope casting shade and taking moisture from the ground.

So we removed all the vegetation

Then we constructed a retaining wall from sleepers

And created a new shrub bed around the front of the sleeper wall underneath the Ceder tree and planted it up with suitable plants

To finish we turfed the new more level grass area

Here is how it looked when we had finished

And here’s what the customer though:

“Selwood Gardens transformed our front garden from an eye-sore to one with wow factor. We have received several compliments and are so pleased with the outcome. They were great to work with and we would highly recommend them.”
